Hi, I’m Dr. Ram

I understand how overwhelming big emotions, anxiety, and behavioral struggles can feel, not only for the child but for their families as well. My mission is to create a compassionate and safe space where children and teens feel truly seen, heard, and supported as they navigate the complexities of their emotions and experiences.

This mission comes from my deep belief in the resilience and strength of every young person, a belief shaped by my experiences both personally and professionally.

Having witnessed firsthand how the right support can transform lives, I am committed to walking alongside families with patience, respect, and hope. This makes me uniquely suited to guide your child through their struggles toward a brighter, healthier future.

My Approach

A straightforward, compassionate approach for kids, teens, and families

I partner with families to support the emotional well-being of children and teens. I provide a safe, caring environment where young people can better understand their feelings, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence. I incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, and parent coaching in my approach. My work is collaborative, keeping parents informed and involved every step of the way.

Extensive Training, Deep Commitment, Genuine Care

My path to becoming a psychologist has been shaped by a broad range of clinical and research experiences working with children and adolescents facing complex emotional, developmental, and medical challenges.

I hold a Doctorate of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Davis, which sparked my early passion for understanding human behavior and development.

I completed my doctoral internship at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, where I gained hands-on experience in pediatric psychology and neuropsychology, supporting patients with medical and psychological needs.

My training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital strengthened my skills in assessment, consultation, and therapy for children with complex needs. Earlier roles in schools and clinics, along with research on infant development and autism risk, deepened my understanding of neurodevelopmental challenges. These experiences fuel my commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care that helps children and families build resilience and thrive.
