Thoughtful, individualized therapy designed to meet your child where they are.
How It Works
1. Book a Free Consultation
Schedule a 15-minute phone call to share what’s been going on and learn how I can help. This is a chance to see if we’re the right fit before getting started.
2. Initial Appointment
We’ll meet for a full intake session where I’ll get to know you and your child better. We’ll talk through concerns, goals, and create a plan for moving forward.
3. Begin Ongoing Support
If we decide to work together, we’ll begin regular therapy sessions tailored to your child’s unique needs, offering consistent support and space to grow.

forms of payment & Insurance
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept all major credit and debit cards for your convenience.
While I am not in-network with insurance providers, I can provide a superbill upon request. A superbill is a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if you have out-of-network mental health benefits. I recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your specific coverage and reimbursement process.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about fees or using your out-of-network benefits.
cancellation policy
To respect both your time and mine, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice will be subject to the full session fee.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, you can do so through the client portal or by contacting me directly. I appreciate your understanding and commitment to the therapy process.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
The first session focuses on gathering background information, understanding your child’s current challenges, and identifying goals for therapy. It’s also a chance for us to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship in a supportive and comfortable virtual setting.
-
I currently offer therapy exclusively through secure telehealth sessions.
Virtual therapy allows for flexible scheduling and makes it easier for children and teens to attend sessions in a familiar environment.
-
While virtual therapy is effective for many children and teens, there are certain diagnoses and symptoms that are often better supported in person, especially when treatment requires a high level of structure, sensory input, or relational presence.
In particular, intensive trauma-informed care, severe emotional dysregulation, selective mutism, and early developmental concerns (such as those requiring play-based assessment or hands-on intervention) may be more effectively addressed through in-person services. Children who struggle to engage over video or who benefit from physical proximity and nonverbal cues may also need in-person support to make meaningful progress.
If it seems that your child’s needs would be better met with in-person care, I’m happy to offer referrals to trusted local providers who offer that level of support. My goal is always to help you find the right fit for your child’s care.
-
Yes. Parent collaboration is an important part of the process. I provide regular check-ins to keep you informed, answer questions, and share strategies to support your child outside of sessions.
-
Yes. Therapy is a private space, and I take confidentiality seriously. I will not share specific details of what your child says without their permission, except in situations where there are concerns about safety, such as risk of harm to themselves or others, or in cases of abuse or neglect.
-
The initial session is 75 minutes to ensure there is enough time to complete a clinical interview to gather background information, understand presenting concerns, and identify goals for treatment. It also provides an opportunity to begin building rapport.
Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes and typically occur once a week. We may adjust the frequency based on your child’s needs and therapeutic goals.

I am not in-network with insurance providers. However, I can provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement if you have out-of-network mental health benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your coverage.

I work with children, adolescents, and young adults, generally ages 4 years to 18 years, and collaborate closely with parents and caregivers throughout the process.
-
I support children and teens with anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, family stress, life transitions, and other challenges affecting their emotional well-being.
-
The length of therapy varies depending on your child’s unique goals and challenges. Some children benefit from short-term support, while others may need longer-term care. We’ll regularly assess progress and adjust the plan as needed.
